Actual 3.5 - I keep thinking this book was alright, but the more I look back on it the more I realized I really enjoyed it. It’s a solid ending to the series with a good overall pace. Didn’t love the audiobook narrator BUT I think they were trying to pick someone close to Fable’s age which I appreciate, but since I struggle with YA a lot these days it irked me some. Note: the narrator didn’t do a bad job she just sounded young which made moments when the character complained seem whiny (I also listened to this at work so I can’t fault the book for not holding my attention the whole time

Rare that a sequel is actually better than the first book, but I think this one was! Both were great reads, but this sequel felt tighter. 4.5 stars. Swashbuckling treasure hunting fun.
