The way this was written just did not grab me. There was a lot of back and forth with memories, format changes, etc. that just really kept me from engaging with the story

hmmm i think temple is a really strong main character and ellis had a really good grasp on her voice and the complexities of Being A Teen, but overall the writing/story was a little more simplistic than i'd prefer. a fun quick read, though, and i'm super curious to see where ellis' career goes
