I loved this! I can’t believe it’s slipped past me this whole time. I never would have read it unless my best friend recommended it to me. I listened to the full cast production via audiobook and it definitely improved the experience. It’s hard for me to believe that this is the same man who wrote The Picture of Dorian Gray—but The Importance of Being Earnest will remain a favorite.

Oops procrastinated reviewing this
This was a delightful reread, given a little extra depth by my Wilde lectures (emphasis on a little - I still think this is mostly a fun silly play, especially when taken out of context)
It's an excellent fun silly play with some killer lines, love me a good dandy to have gender envy for
12/10 would recommend
