Definitely a book I need on my shelves at work. Very helpful but this is one to own so you can go back to it as needed. The first chapter is slightly difficult to get through but it doesn’t get better as far as information goes.

Amazing, quite a journey but really validating and interesting overall.

A great introduction to trauma theory for therapists working in this field. It is definitely a basic book, but it does the trick. I use it sometimes to explain the effects of trauma on children to foster carers who struggle to understand the children's behaviour(s).

Read for academic research. Difficult but an important book in trauma theory, potentially a little dated now
