A experiência de ouvir o audiobook, com a Emily narrando, foi maravilhosa. A parte final do capítulo “Buying myself back”, ela com a voz embargada, lendo “She will continue to carve out control where she can find it.” me quebrou um pouco. 
Mesmo sendo modelo, bonita, famosa e rica, ela mostra como não está imune ao machismo e misoginia dos homens e da sociedade.

important and enthralling, this book should be required reading. emily ratajkowsi’s essays are beautiful and honest, heartwarming and heartbreaking. she effectively captures the spirit of what it means to be a woman, and what it means to be famous for your body. this book shed a new light on lives of women, and revealed truths that need to be heard.
