This book was a delight. I am very musically inclined, so it was even more enjoyable because I could really understand and feel the joy of creating music. I enjoyed learning about all the characters and their backstories. Many of them were very loveable. I think Maggie was one of my favorite characters. At first, I didn't really like her, but then I grew to lover her, especially after I found out how understanding she was about the whole cheating situation. The depth of Ridge's character really helped me love him. Especially when he finally performed, my heart literally died, it was so cute. Overall, it was an amazing book and I highly recommend it.

After writing down my review and a lot of thinking, I honestly think this is a good book. I love the plot, I relate to it in some sense I didn't think I would like this book to be honest considering I have not highlighted anything and I almost gave up few pages in lol. But I'm glad I gave this a chance when I discovered something interesting. The relationship between Sydney and Ridge was started as a small interest and that lead to something more as the book carries on. I understand the situation between Sydney and Ridge, the way I see it...because both of them have the same passion for their career which started as interest then leads to attraction, and then they spent so much time together...well it went downhill from there (or uphill I'd say) it goes on until they couldn't control their feelings anymore. But really do really have control over our feeling? not really. That doesn't matter as what matters the most is how we deal with it. The action. That matters. While Maggie and Ridge's relationship; they love each other but they love the wrong. Therefore I can't blame these 3 people, they have nothing wrong, it's just the timing...and the actions that were taken...also, I love the spice, I love the way Ridge show Maggie how much he loves her, how much both of them love each other when they make love (also when they finally admit of loving each other before the spice happened).
