Uhmmm...Rina?....What is that ending!?!?

So basically Rina creates chaos in this book. We learned more about Elsa's past and secrets are starting to come up to the surface. We also saw how the relationship between Aiden and Elsa evolved.

Aiden is again possessive and jealous, things that make him even hotter, Elsa stands up more to him and lets him know when he steps out of line. She does this in the first book too, but there she is still our sweet Elsa, now she is even stronger.

If I haven't mentioned so far, the spicy scenes between them are super hot and become more and more steamy.

Although it is the second time I read this book, the ending still took me by surprise.  It still left me shocked and wanting to read the next book.

I don't know what Rina puts in her books, but the more you read, the more thrilling it becomes.

Elsa's story reminds me a lot of Astrid's. They are both running from their pasts and trying to start over. However, Elsa's wasn't entirely her choice. Her mind split everything off so she would forget; it was just how she protected herself. I'm curious to see how their story will end in the next book because, in this one, she started working on herself to try and remember her past. Meanwhile, Aiden remembers it all, but he still loves her. He wants her but goes about it in the worst way possible. Every time they start to make some light way, something comes in and blows it all up again. Then, the way this one ended! It was just pure chaos, and I don't know how they returned from this!

Aiden absolutely shined in this book.

I actually had a really fun time reading this book! I loved seeing Aiden and Elsa battle to out. Seeing her relationship develop with the horsemen was amazing and getting bits and pieces of the other couples was also really fun too. Something I’m kind of sad about was that I feel like we didn’t get as much of Kimmy in this book, but I’m hoping we’ll either see her more in the next one or, of course, wait and really get to dive into her character into her own book.
Overall, so obsessed, can’t stop now, literally already started Twisted Kingdom.

Despite the spice scenes in this getting a down thumb from me, and despite it not being very well written in places, this book actually has a really interesting and mysterious plot which is gradually unravelling. And for that it gets three stars.
Check trigger warnings before reading because this second instalment of Aiden and Elsa’s story still features non/dubious consent and the narrative covers some dark plot points. Overall I am enjoying the story though.
