Probably a 3.5 stars. It's a cute, very slow paced romance manga. I'll be continuing it and seeing if it gets any better from here.

It's basically about a young man who does odd jobs around town. He can talk to birds! It's really cool, but totally secret! I like the comedy in the series. The birds are very sassy. There's an air of mystery to the book, too. Who is Kuro? Is he really just a crow? Why is our main character drawn to him?

I hope these questions will be answered soon, I assume they will. If you're in the mood for something different, give it a try!

Mitsuru starts off in the manga as 17 and turns 18 later on. I think this could have easily been done with Mitsuru being in college or similar age to Inusaki (23). I wish I had known this prior to picking it up.

As weird as it was adorably cute. Can't wait for the next volume.

P.S.
I've hesitated over marking it as YA, because I'm not sure what future installments will contain. One MC is 21 and the other just turned 18, so in the world of yaoi/manga, that could go either way. ;) I'll mark again, in the future, once I've read future volumes.

It’s a weird one… I mean I’m ok with talking to animals and animals that talk but… there isn’t enough in this story to show me how/why the characters formed an emotional connection. (2 vol)

It's so cute! I appreciate how Inusaki really hates birds because of his ability to talk to them. In a lot of other stories the protagonist would be the other way around. He likes cats too so that's a big plus.

Mitsuru seems like a guy who has a lot he wants to say but isn't sure how he wants to say it. I like him a lot too.

Also, did I finally find another series from Sublime that's less focused on getting the two main characters undressed as quickly as possible? Cause if so that's fantastic!

Inusaki is a young man who lives in a small town, he has a unique ability to talk to birds.
I find that this manga moves in the fast pace of many others, with time kind of being a secondary thought. The art is gorgeous and the story is original and funny!
I like that it brings more to the table than just BL tropes.
