Well, I can’t believe I didn’t find Bj and Magnolia completely annoying. They still were, but they matured a lot compared to their first book.

This book was still really tiring with all the will they won’t they. 600 pages of them saying they loved each other but then doing everything by being together. And the ending. Do not talk to me.

Spoiler ahead.
What the fuck do you mean Bridget is dead. She is literally the only person I fully loved (apart from Taura) and now she is gone. And the fact that she died thinking Magnolia wasn’t going to make her maid of honor. Stop it right now.

I also think it’s pretty obvious that the whole car crash were Julian’s rivals or whatever. And I’m really curious to learn what happened with Daisy and Christian at the end.

But seriously, how in the world am I meant to read a magnolia parks book without Bridget in it.

I found myself spacing out every once in a while in this one, but I think that is on me, not the book. This was as drama filled as always, and I loved every second of it! Just when you think Magnolia & BJ are getting their lives together, something happens

Now that I know the characters and their individual developments, this book rocked me. This whole series is like a soap opera mixed with Gossip Girls, and it keeps getting better.

The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I would’ve loved to hear perspectives other than BJ and Magnolia, but I guess that’s not the point.

December 3rd will never be the same for me.

First the baby and the tree absolutely sent me, then the fact that Julian was actually falling in love with her but knew she’d never not love BJ, then the car accident (which I KNOW was not an accident and it was definitely a hit to hurt magnolia), then HER SISTER are you kidding me, I’m wrecked Bridget was one of my favorites and I think she might have got poisoned and the worst part about it is I guarantee it was supposed to be magnolia that died and not Bridget.

I am simply so confused after reading that. I don’t really know what just happened and it annoys me that I have to read an entire book before I can figure out what happens…
But! This was a good one.

Im annoyed by all the sexual things in the book but I guess it’s to be expected. I also really hate the way that the writer makes literally everyone in love with Magnolia. Just for once have someone not susceptible to her charms. I just feel bad for all the guys. They never like anyone… she plays with them… and then they learn to love but she never loves them. I hate it. It’s so awful. Worst part of the book for real.
On the bright side though, some of the dialogue in this book was so funny. One of my favorite moments was Christian and Magnolia “whisper yelling” at each other in the middle of the night. It was soooo funny. And the witty dialogue with Julian was also really fun. I also feel like BJ is finally changing which is good because I literally wanted to murder him throughout the entire first book. He sucked but he is slowly getting better. Still don’t love him though.

Over all, good read but I’m depressed because what just happened with that ending? I don’t understand.

I’m in a constant state of pissed off reading this book so that begs the question WHY ARE YOU STILL READING???

Honestly I’m just interested to see how much worse it will get and how the author is going to remedy it all for the “happy ending” that’s obviously to come. I know exactly where the story is going to end but I’m so curious how they’re going to get there because everything in between so far has been an absolute dumpster fire.

Also for anyone that genuinely sees Bj as a good book boyfriend… babe be so for real!!! Magnolia is no keeper either though don’t get it twisted.
