This book was exactly right for our family this year, and I suspect we will continue using it every year for the foreseeable future. It is short and simple, but profound and packed with scripture. The playlist and the artwork were meaningful, and the alternate readings added a wonderful dimension when I read them in the mornings by myself in addition to the regular readings which I did with my family in the evenings.

I especially appreciated the readings from Psalms for the first three weeks of advent (switching to the story of Christmas for the final week), and the hints of the second-coming of Christ throughout the book.
