The second book book of the series follows the Skye and the others as they try to stop the great dragon Xiatyan from invading her dreams.
Overall this was a very exciting and unpredictable read. Unpredictable isn’t a bad thing in this scenario. There were a lot of twists and turns and Skye is very different from me than most characters are which helped.
The book also depicts reverse harem/polyamory in an interesting way. While it was formed as a way to protect her. Polyamory doesn’t seem to carry the same stigmas it carries in the real world. And seeing a story from that point of view is refreshing. It also handled conflict surrounding the relationship in a good way and emphasized communication.
I’m honestly looking forward to the next book because knowing this author, there is going to be a lot of plot twists coming up in subsequent books that could change everything.
