I've been thinking about this book since it came out, and I'm so glad I finally read it. Machada's use of the dream house throughout the book was an extra layer to telling the story, and the vignette style made it move quickly and left you wanting to read more. This is such an important addition to the canon of queer relationships and domestic abuse.
