Demasiado Shojo

Man I am a total sucker for these Romance Slice of life stories haha.

So Blue Flag starts off similar enough to things probably read or watched. A character named Taichi is just living his normal everyday life when one day he begins to talk to Futaba. He quickly finds out Futaba has a mega-crush on Touma Mita, a childhood friend of Taichi. Despite Taichi knowing it won't work out he decides to help Futaba, even though HE might secretly have feelings for her, but more than that he feels let down by his own views in life and being...lost.

This is a love story but with plenty of fun twist. Most of all it's pretty damn funny. The faces are so good, I laughed a few times at reactions. Also, the characters seem realistic and the ending wasn't a surprised as I guessed earlier, but it was handled VERY well. I really got attached to all three characters, and eager to see how they grow from here.

Give me more of blue Flag. A 4 out of 5.

I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Despite being friends with Toma Mila, the most popular boy in their grade, Taichi Ichinose always feels on the outside of his class, not quite fitting in. Futaba Kuze is also a bit of an outcast in their grade, clumsy and shy. One day, Futaba confesses to Taichi that she has a crush on Toma and asks for his help getting Toma to like her. As Toma gets to know Futaba better while helping her, he begins to realize that he has a crush on her.

I loved this graphic novel! This was such a cute story. It did a fantastic job of setting up for the next volume of Blue Flag, which I can't wait to read!
