This volume is a great introduction to the series and I really enjoyed it — the story, characters, and the character designs. This volume spent a bit too long on the "fixing the girl" part of the initial premise though; I wish it had been slightly shorter.

To be honest I was scared everyone was lying to me about it being queer until the final scene to close the volume on a cliffhanger. But it was certainly foreshadowed, it didn't come from nowhere! Excited to read on.
