This book was a childhood favorite and I was feeling nostalgic so I re read it. The words are really big so it’s very easy to get through. When I was younger (3rd grade ish) I remember loving ivy and bean’s friendship, and all the antics they got involved in. They were both such creative and inspiring characters and this book back in the day was one of the reasons I did things like make potions in my backyard. This series just brings back a lot of fond memories and I really appreciate it for that. :)

I love these two. They make me laugh out loud. Barrows walks the fine line between realistic and funny without using cheap humor or too safe.

Cute, and the title is great--since the ghost haunts the bathroom!

Ivy and Bean are second graders with a penchant for trouble. One day at lunch/recess, Ivy spies a mist surrounding girls leaving the girls restroom. She and Bean determine the restroom must be haunted. Soon the entire school is afraid to use that particular restroom. It is up to Ivy and Bean to make that ghost leave.

Very cute! Would make a good read-aloud for teachers and parents of 1st and 2nd graders.

- Yes, we read another one of these. Gnome really liked it. She said she liked everything about this book.

- It was fun to read about girls in the same grade as Gnome. The characters are cute.

- I liked this one better than the first one, not by much, but I thought this one had a better story.

- The whole ghost thing reminded me of making up things with my friends. We used our imaginations and created fun places and situations too.

- Overall, these are pretty cute and quick reads for kids.

Cute book. This was the first one I read so I am guessing that the ghost isn’t real but idk. Fun beginning chapter book for unmerging readers
