This series is so good so far, and I loved this installment! Oraya and Raihn came such a long way from book one, and I felt that their part concluded nicely. The tension was amazing, and the action had me on the edge of my seat waiting for more. I enjoyed the magic that was introduced here, as well as getting to know some of the other characters in the world. The alternating POVs really kept me engaged, and I was invested in the story the entire time. The dynamic between Oraya and Raihn was also so well done. I would have liked to have seen more of Vale, Mische, and Lilith, but I know they'll be present in future installments. I love the writing, and I'm so excited to read more of Carissa's books.

This was entirely too long. How did we go from something so perfectly addicting (book 1) to something so severely under edited? I could have done without the last 100 pages.
