I just recently became a Kate Winkler Dawson fan, like I listen to all of her podcasts. So I really enjoyed this book. I love that it went into more detail than her podcast. I'm definitely going to buy her other books.

I found this book slow and difficult to finish. It wasn't very interesting to me.

This books was a good read. Not the type of book I typically read, very true life crime podcast. Actually I might have liked it better as a podcast lol. Not saying I didn’t like it, because I did.

I wasn’t familiar with the Rulloff case and so I found the timeline of this book to be messy and scattered. I really didn’t like the way it was written.
The story is interesting and the writer does a great job bringing it to life. I would put this book more heavily into historical true crime. I was hoping for a little more information on the development or history of behavioral science but it was still a great read!
