Thrilling ride
This had me gripped, a real psychological ride. About 80% of the way in it kind of lost me, with Laney making a decision I didn't understand. Then at around 95%... BOOM, a huge twist that explained everything. I wasn't expecting the ending and it added a whole new layer to everything that had happened previously. Great read.

Wow! Just wow!
I have to say, just wow! This story is so complex and the characters so crazy real that you are in the story with them. You the saying that if you were a fly on the wall. Laney is so all over the place but by the end of the story she has had a complete breakdown and just wow...can't say the ending but I am interested to see what happens next.

I think my headline really describes this book and it’s truly an unusual love story. About three quarters in is where it finally picks up speed to that insane ending. Dark romance anyone?

Talk about intense! This is definitely not a "romance", but would fall into the category of a noire erotica maybe? It's dark and twisted and yet it's written in a way that you can't help but keep reading. So I approve of the topic, no, not at all... But it definitely makes you think and makes emotions run and leaves you feeling dirty? Upset? Almost (*almost*) happy for the characters when you read the very end? I don't know. I'm fairly certain this one will stay with me awhile.
