I thought this was a very sweet book. It showed grief in a very real and relatable way. I did think that the two love interests were too perfect but it was a sweet book

I enjoyed this story but I felt like the end was abrupt. I would have liked more than a short 3 page chapter summarizing the rest of their story. It was kind of a let down after bawling through the chapter previous.

As a widow of a young child myself, this book got a lot right about how it feels.

This book was absolutely beautiful. Rachel Higginson is an exquisite writer. She captures the emotion of the characters so well, I cried multiple times reading this. I loved every single character in this book, and that's rare! Ben was perfect. I swooned a lot! I am definitely a fan and will check out this authors other works.

A beautiful heartfelt book about the stages of grieving. I could not put this book down. Tissues at the ready for this one.

So I have to start by saying this isn't my typical book type. I do have to say though it was beautifully written, it was romantic and heart breaking all at once. So. Many. Feels. This book made my typical books feel like light reads. Liz's character was so well written, I could literally feel her anguish. And what's not to love about Ben?

This book, like I said, isn't a typical romance. It is so much more!!!

I don't know how to write this review, I'm awed. This book was many things, it was sweet, heartbreaking, love, loss, frustrating, bring lost.
Personally, I've never lost any one I love and care about, but, this book made me feel like I had. I felt the grief Liz went through.

The writing in this story is amazing. It's real. Author Rachel Higginson is a new author for me and this book immediately landed in my favourites.

One thing I'd love to really commend the author on the lack of hot-and-heavy. The way she described the intimate moments were incredible and touching. Hot-and-heavy just wasn't needed. I saw, felt and experienced the growth of the characters with each other and in Liz with herself.
