3 Stars for Narration by Anneliese Rennie (It's not AP & that made me sad.)
4 Stars for Game Mechs
2 Stars for Bland Character & Uneven Plot Progression
The world of Puatera Online is cool and I like the overall plot line a lot. The change in narrators did not go well and it was very stiff in comparison to AP. The character setup felt awkward & forced. It was all very cheesy & predictable. I thought I would come to like Emma but I didn't because she never grew into a person that I wanted to know.
Pros: All tidbits of info that adds to the main plot & setting.
Cons: Weak "Chosen One" Character - Clueless Mary Sue given all powers.
I was excited about the series but now I'm worried because the following books are narrated by another person. I guess I'll see what happens.
