I had been recommended one of Morrigan's poetry collections, [b:Sexting|61241523|Sexting|Clementine Morrigan|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/book/50x75-a91bf249278a81aabab721ef782c4a74.png|96553841]. Unable to find it, I ordered this. While I'm not a fan of self-help, self-philosophy, or recovery books, I thought I would branch out here and see if her work spoke to me. Alas, the sober-speak and particular brand of self-awareness just don't resonate with me.
This felt like I was reading the diary of someone who was writing a very condescending letter to their future self. Which, again, I get that appeal for some people, but it was certianly not For Me.
