I read about 90% of the book but I couldn’t get into the religious stories. Ended up just putting the book away. I think Dillard’s nature writing is beautiful but overall, she’s not a favorite.

read "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" after it was mentioned at church! Loved the section on Pennies... "What you see is what you get". She describes people receiving their sight similar to "Crashing Through"
