Some were dog-eared for my permanent collection, but most were just not ready yet, imo. I am all about Atwood's scifi, but the poetry... meh

Amazing book of poems! Atwood is a master at imagery. I loved how she used The Wizard of Oz as well as her traditional natural imagery throughout many poems, but her last set of poems on loss I enjoyed the most. I also enjoyed the many poems she wrote with the focus of human impact on the environment.

I want to start by saying that I don't usually read poetry and that when I do, I'm left with the feeling that I didn't get it. Having said that... I really liked this book, which I heard narrated by Atwood herself. It was lovely, relatable... It made me chuckle and go "yup, been there!".
My favorite poems were the one about cats, Aliens, and Dearly.

I enjoyed these poems. Some seemed personal and others just seemed like fun play with words. Lovely work.
