Overall an enjoyable read and continuation from book 1. I wasn’t wowed by it, but feel like I would have devoured this when I was younger.

What a phenomenal second book in this triology! I really appreciate how the author stayed true to the plot, not getting lost in the romance (although included really nicely), and tackling greater issues of conflict, identity and revelation. Equisite writing and story telling!

This book was set more in the fantasy world than the real world and I felt like that transition was a little lacking, I was a little confused. But still a great book, I have hope that I'll like the last book as much as I liked the first one.
