A fan of her soothing voice on her podcast of the same name, this sweet collection of stories in print is equally as cozy.

Based on a podcast, this book is filled with short stories to help you relax.

All of these short stories were just wonderful. I found them peaceful to read not only before bed but in times I felt like I needed a little break during the day. Nothing Much Happens, was so soothing to read.

I highly recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a short and sweet story before bed.

Potwierdzam! Działają wyciszająco i kojąco❤️ Opowiadania pomogły mi wiele razy wyciszyć swój umysł i zasnąć. Nieco "trudniejsze" były tylko czasem te fragmenty z jedzeniem i gotowaniem w tle. No bo zamiast spać, to chciałam wstać do kuchni i coś upichcić

This book is best read when you seek relaxation, sleep, and comforting stories more than well-paced plot lines. It’s helped me wind down after a long and busy day. Listening to the podcast is just great and chill too.

Kathryn Nicolai's calming voice soothes me to sleep through her podcast whenever I wake up restless in the middle of the night or need some extra help getting there in the first place. Whenever I read a story from this perfect little book, I hear each word in her voice. It's not surprising in the least that she is also a yoga teacher. She doesn't just have a calm voice - she radiates calm from the inside. As the title of the book states, nothing happens in the stories, which is perfect for someone whose brain and thoughts race most at nighttime. I like the cute map at the front of the book showing the layout of the town in which these stories take place. Everything that exists and happens here is pleasant. Isn't that nice to think about? A perfect book to keep on the nightstand and dip into whenever you feel like relaxing.
