Pensaba que no, pero al final lo he disfrutado bastante. De nuevo es un libro de Neil Gaiman que me pasa un poco sin pena ni gloria, pero como es cortito y la historia no está mal, pues ha sido una buena lectura.
Pero lo cierto es que creo que el autor no es para mi. Mucha gente le adora y yo no consigo que sus libros me calen. Alguno que otro me gusta, pero sin llegar a encantarme, como ha sido este caso.
Una historia de hadas con sus toques oscuros y que rompe un poco con lo establecido. También tierna en muchos puntos. Pero aún así, se va a quedar ahí para mi, en una lectura agradable sin más.

I will try hard not to compare it to the movie as I grew up with it.
The book has a very strong beginning and I love the dark fantasy elements wrapped up with the Gaiman's characteristic poetry like narrative.
The ending however left me sad and incomplete. I was honestly waiting for a happier ending.
In addition the relationship between Yvainne and Tristran developed so fast I was backtracking pages to see if I missed anything. I just didn't see the chemistry. And the plot with Septimus and Tristrans mother I felt were a bit if not rushed then unsatisfying. All in all a really great book. Just in my opinion missing a few things that would make it amazing.
