"I was the snake that swallowed Flora, and Sully unhinged her jaw to swallow me." is probably one of my favourite lines I've ever read.

I was greatly intrigued by the quote at the start of the book and the first page had me hooked. If you think this book is far fetched in relation to its depiction of teenage girls then I would doubt you'd ever been one. (Or, perhaps you have, and you were mentally stable and devoid of all trauma.)

I understand why we get two timelines however I was so engrossed in the world of Amb and Sully that I felt sad every time I had to leave and return to the ‘present'.

The twist was great, the end wrapped everything up nicely, but truthfully, I didn’t hate Amb or Sully so I wasn’t exactly begging for justice. I think the author created these ‘mean girls’ so well, so fully formed and mesmerising that in the end I didn’t care what happened to them, I just loved being privy to their wild reign while it lasted.

Predictable. Pretty Little Liars meets I Know What you Did Last Summer.

Long, drawn out.

Mam okrutnie mieszane uczucia co do tej książki.
Z jednej strony - wciągająca, bardzo.
Z drugiej... Przekombinowana, z masą luk i nie do końca logicznych ciągów zdarzeń.
Był potencjał, ale gdzieś zaginął po drodze.

This book was WILD. I couldn't put it down because at the end of every chapter, the author left me wanting to know more. This book is Mean Girls, meets Heathers meets Jawbreaker. Great book if you're a fan of unlikeable characters,

Wanted to know what happened storyline wise, but couldn't truly connect to any of the characters. Not only were they not likeable, they also felt v disconnected and unrealistic imo
