Quinci was taking Dymon down through there. I love when an FMC matches the MMCs grumpy energy and then they get all cat caught your tongue. Had me smiling from ear to ear the way they had each other. Dymon ain’t know what to do with himself but love that woman. He didn’t think her being a southern “farmer” was going to give him the business 😂 Wrong! I loved her charm and being straight forward. She didn’t sugar coat nothing for no one especially when disrespect was on the table.
Dymon was “THAT GUY” when it came to business and knowing his stuff. He just needed someone to care enough about him and his feelings. That mom and the family in general damn sure didn’t care. They just wanted to kept their wealth and business face good. It’s so refreshing seeing him finally letting the hurt up off him to the people that caused it. Then putting boundaries in place. Was very proud of him. Lastly, him opening up to Quinci about his family, pain and his feelings toward her was everything. That man had the best development in this story.
Other things:
-Wish she didn’t always call him Mr. Dymon.
-When Quinci read that mom for filth.
-The orange slices.
-Mr. Everly and that gun.
-Quinci never letting him forget how much he spent.

A very sweet and basic book for introducing D/s lifestyle. I wish she had gone more in depth at some moments but over all great book
WOW! Such an unexpected, great listen! And though there is much debate on which Danger brother is the best, I think Dymon is left out a lot AND I think Quinci is actually the best. She exudes so much power, confidence, AND vulnerability.
I listened to this book and it was great, so great that I do feel the need to still own the physicals!

I wish she didn’t call him Mister Danger even after they got together.

The audiobook only solidified the fact that this is still pretty much a 5 🌟 read for me!!! And it was definitely an Audible credit well spent! Hopefully I'll be able to invest in the physical books for this entire series soon since Ms. Endiya Carter has decided to bless us with them; I just have to be on the lookout for the next time she has them for sale! 🤞🏾 But until then, I will definitely be getting Diesel and Declan audiobooks via Audible with my next credits.
