Interesting twist on Sherlock Holmes from a female perspective! Love the premise and the mystery is a good one, with enough clues along the way you can solve it (which is always fun). A Nice, light, mystery is a great way to think about this - although not sure I'll read more of the series.
A fantastic way to adapt the Sherlock Holmes genre; I've enjoyed Ms. Thomas' romance novels and I really like how she illuminates the thoughts and lives of women in her books. Well done!
This is my very first audio book and I loved it! What a clever and creative retelling of the Sherlock Holmes story.

Live live this author's romance books but couldn't handle this character and the style of the narrative. I don't know if I would have done better if I had known the crude sexual content would be hitting me hard first thing, but I sort of like my romance books separate from my historical mysteries. I quit in the first chapter so I could be convinced to go back if someone out there wants to convince me the rest of the book isn't quite so bad.

Even more delightful than Benedict Cumberbatch, Charlotte Holmes is now my favorite Sherlock!
