This book is both a meditation on grief and on recognizing homophobia within yourself, especially when you don't think it's present.

A super interesting read that forces one man (and possibly the reader) to confront his own prejudices. Would be keen to read the second volume.

Bros first reaction to a hug was to yell "Get away homo!"
Me ha encantado, divertido, entraƱable, pero tambiƩn te hace meditar de como reaccionamos o no reaccionamos pero nuestra actitud cambia en algunas situaciones. No puedo esperar a leer el siguiente volumen
I got teary eyed at parts and I did not expect that to happen. This is such a sweet manga and such a good premise. The story centers around a father learning to see people who are different through his young daughters eyes and that starts to help him come to terms with his family's past and his current life. There was a lot I didn't know about Japanese culture discussed and I hope volume two contains more. I would talk more but I think it's worth reading yourself.
