From the description I knew this was going to be a story that hooked me but its truly the writer's style that made me finish the entire thing within 24 hours. The author has a way of mixing emotional highs and lows with descriptions that feel like a walk in the woods. I can see myself returning to this story again, maybe in the next season.

Could not keep my interest. Book reads like not very interesting weekly backyard journal entries.

Wish I'd had more time to read this; felt like I rushed through and it's not a book that should be rushed through. Love the seasonality of it and how connected she is with nature. The awareness of changing seasons.
