Very shallow and badly written. Massimino seems like a nice guy and I'm sure he's a great professor and public figure but this doesn't come across in this book.

I loved this book! Mike Massimino gives you an inside look at how hard astronauts work. The physical and mental strength it requires is astonishing. To even get a chance at being an astronaut you need be a PhD, a pilot, scuba dive, be extremely physically fit, and be able to not go insane when you're stuck in a spaceship hundreds of miles above the earth. It made me love space and wish I'd known more about it sooner.

I had never heard of Mike Massimino until I got this book on clearance at Booksamillion. I am glad I decided to pick this up, because it was a very inspiring read. It was really awesome to see a child grow up to realize his dreams of being in space. Massimino worked on some really well known projects, and learning more about the Hubble Telescope was really neat. I remember that being a really big deal when I was in school. I highly recommend this book for fellow space lovers.

Astronaut Mike Massimino is one of the lucky ones. He always wanted to be an Astronaut and never veered from that dream. Chance played a part in him being selected and he is well aware of his good fortune. Wonderful look into the world of NASA.

I read an advance copy and was not compensated.

I really liked listening to the audiobook read by the author. I don't think it would have been as good if it had been read by someone else. It was interesting learning about his journey to become an astronaut, his experiences as an astronaut, and the shuttle program.

A great read. I heard of him back in the early days of Twitter, as the tweeting astronaut. I've seen him later on Big Bang Theory and Star Talk with NdGT. It was great to read his story and the details make you feel like you're an astronaut too.

Sometimes you come across the right book at the right time... having some struggles at work - just a scientist not an astronaut - but this book really helped me find some new perspectives and find a path that is true to me. Love the perspectives and themes his career has given him. Space is cool... science is cool
