This is a perfect quick little romantasy. I love how the author prepped the readers. She said there will be no big fantasy plot, just a romance with people who happen to be fae and we STANNNN.
I am usually not an insta mates fan, but this was done in such an interesting way. The title for most unhinged mate definitely goes to Rennick. Truly an insane person hahaha Loved how Amelia just accepted and decided to match his freak. Had a blast reading it!

Ok, I liked it. Rennik is OTT protective, but he holds himself to the same standards he expects from Amelia. He wouldn’t like a man touching Amelia, so another woman touching him can't be tolerated either. I just wish there had been a little more to the letters, they felt a bit too short. And I would have liked to have more of them, instead of the huge time jumps. Or more of Amelia's reactions to them, at least. The secondary characters have some depth too, and the world is interesting. I had a couple questions that didn’t get answers, but they weren’t too important, and I could suspend my disbelief on minor details and enjoy the ride. And boy, what a ride. A lot of spice, but it was varied and quite good, in my opinion. Rennick sure was a generous lover.

This book.... what can I say? lol - This book was awfully written. There was SOOOO much random shit happening with it - and it was more like reading a children's book and I totally heard a narrator in my head when reading this. So why the rating? Cause it was delicious smut. I mean - mouth-watering yum! It wasn't excessive, but it wasn't next to nothing.
The letters were fucking adorable and probably one of my fav pieces. The story was straightforward forward so definitely a great palate cleanser. No stupid tropes to piss you off.
Will you read this book for the plot? NO. Will you read this book for its literary genius? No. Will you read it cause it's fucking adorable and will make you giggle? Absolutely! There was one scene where the MCs had sex, and it was fairly descriptive. Then, at the climax, it went, "They climbed in bed together and went to sleep." lol like no transition or something... I dunno - lol lol - Paragraphs just ended. like... "and they left" hahaha I don't know how else to explain it..... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Be prepared for more questions. Be prepared for super random shit to happen lol and you're like how TF does that fit - but it's not a plot hole.? But then Be prepared for plot holes! Be prepared to be wrong about most things cause you have PTSD from dark romances (lol) but also, be prepared to predict the other things that happen cause, well you read dark romance!

Honestly this is not a master piece, it has barely any plot, any world building and a good third if not more is smut.
But sometimes I need exactly that, easy to digest romantasy.
The first 15% were so cute and then it made such a huge turn to something else. So much fun.
Audiobook was great, both narrators did an amazing job.
