Jen is distraught after she sees her son, Todd, stab someone right outside of their house. She follows the police to the station but learns that neither herself or her husband, Kelley, can do anything that night. After they get home, she falls asleep from exhaustion only to wake up the next day and find out that it is yesterday. She is somehow reliving the past. Since then, every time she wakes up, she moves further and further into the past in a quest to find out why Todd did what he did. 

This was such a great book to read. I loved that I couldn't really guess what was going to happen next. Every time that I thought I had it figured out, another twist appeared. I have been reading a lot of moving into the past books lately but this one was probably the most well written. This was my first Gillian McAllister and I will  read more.

Alright alright nobody get too excited but I *am* reading again. The doomscrolling brain rot seems to be actively taking a toll on my mental wellbeing I rllllly need to chill w the screen time. Maybe I don’t need to know what all of the islanders have been posting/sharing since they left the villa. All that to say my brain feels shot from watching videos on 2x speed these days but I enjoyed this enough for it to hold my attention thank u mother for the rec

Spoilers for the ending

I was apprehensive at the start of this one, felt like a few other books i had read before what it felt a little "wattpad"y but i ended up loving it. It was so interesting piecing all the parts together with the timeline and realising things. I wish we knew Ryan as Ryan instead of only as Kelly in their relationship and how things were after he didnt have to hide his identity but a really good read. Loved Clio being baby Eve the whole time so even in the new timeline Todd still meets her that was a nice touch
