A beautifully written and poignant novel about fixation, guilt, toxic relationships and the stories we tell ourselves and others. I can visualise it as a 60's style film!
The only minor niggle I have is that the relationship between Frances & Victor in the 1969 portion could have been developed a little more, but it's a VERY minor niggle.
Highly recommended!
