I figured it out early on. Disappointing. Like so many of his other stories, I felt it he got bored of writing the story and so he hurried up and finished it.

It took me a while to get through this book, I just wasn't interested in the whole legal aspect and the Bowman's did not intrigue me in the slightest. The book didn't get interesting until the last 20%, which is out of the ordinary for a Robin Cook book, his stuff usually grips me from the start.

I enjoyed the addition of courtroom drama to this medical thriller. A page-turner for sure! I enjoyed the end even though it was very predictable.

I love Robin Cook. I have never felt like he was a middle schooler trying to fill up pages with thousands of words bc that was the assignment. The plot was good but it was just too verbose and went on and on and on. I listened to it and you can't " skim" through verbosity when you are listening to an audiobook. So if you want to read it, READ IT. Not a good audiobook.

The book was thoroughly enjoyable, but the end was confusing and poorly executed.

I usually enjoy his books but this one was poorly written.

This is a terrible book...poorly written, extremely choppy pacing, and a confusing and unsatisfyingly abrupt ending. I didn't care about any of the characters. Don't waste your time!
