Loved! The narrators could have been a bit more relaxed and natural, but loved the story enough to ignore that for the most part.

I always find it interesting when a book can successfully combine romance and steamy sex scenes with serious topics like (in this case) an abusive ex and concussions in the NFL. This one succeeded.

Rhiannon Hunter, the creator of a popular dating app, swiped right on former professional football player, Samson Lima. After ghosting Rhi, Samson isn’t going to miss his chance this time.

This is the first book in the Modern Love series and I absolutely love the concept of these. I listened to this through my library’s audiobook program, and it perfect for when I was driving or taking my dog on walks. This book discusses intimate partner violence and the lasting effect that has on the victim which may be triggering for some people.

Page 255. Mainly a DNF because I ran out of times I could renew this. Been having a hard time sitting down to read because January 2021

Update - finished by listening to the audiobook! So, the first 1/2 or so of this book was hard for me to get through, I can't really put my finger on why, but it was hard for me to want to pick up the book and it was easy to put down. Then all of a sudden something switched and I couldn't put it down and I stayed up late to finish it. Really really liked the ending, but going with a 3.75 star since I struggled so hard to get into it.
