If you like rom-com type books, then this is the book for you! I liked how the author did each chapter as the characters pov. I will say that this is a lengthy read but the ending was worth it!!

This book was very conceptually interesting! I really enjoyed the interweaving plots and the corporate world of dating apps was fascinating. The two lead characters each had great backstories and were complex in their own right.
I’m typically not super into dual-POV books, but I appreciated the two perspectives this time! I liked the characters, but I didn’t love them, which is a reason for my rating. I was certainly rooting for them to get together.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a unique contemporary romance!

I always find it interesting when a book can successfully combine romance and steamy sex scenes with serious topics like (in this case) an abusive ex and concussions in the NFL. This one succeeded.

I enjoyed this so much I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Rhi and Samson are so fucking cute.

My biggest dislikes were the way that others treated them. For example
Trevor had no right to ask Samson for help after how he treated him. Fuck him. I also didn't like how Annabelle gave Trevor Samson's number cause she had no right and knew what he had done. I like that Samson demanded an apology though.

Peter can kick fucking rocks.

I was not a fan of the third act break up. They were doing so well with communicating their needs and whatnot. And I hate how Rhiannon is like "my ex fucked me over therefore I can never trust and be in a relationship again" I know it's a common trope but I hate it
I also didn't love the "his dick is pretty" thing. Dicks aren't pretty. Ever

Other than that, I loved it. One of my favorite parts was
Samson sending food to her and her employees for a week. I also really love her relationship with her brother

Would definitely recommend and I will be continuing the series.

This was stupidly sweet and surprisingly spicy! Both characters had well developed personal story lines in addition to their romantic one and the characters are diverse. I love a dude who pines, makes intentions clear, and puts the ball in the woman’s court and I love a strong woman who doesn’t compromise her goals. It was sometimes hard to tell when brief flashbacks end or when internal monologue ended and dialogue started in the audiobook. Overall really enjoyed this on audio!!

I wasn't a great fan of an instant physical chemistry, but that is just my problem not a book problem. The plot was also easy to guess as it usually is for such novels.

On the other hand, the characters were great. There were very important issues touched on and properly elaborated. Love story was really cute even though I still don't belive in personality questionnaires :P

I liked this one but it could have been better for me! The steam was great and the characters were loveable, but I just didn’t care for the storyline. The middle 2/3 of the book dragged for me, but the first third and the last third were more enjoyable. I also loved the diverse representation throughout this entire book. Something about the book just didn’t click with me though!

Would I recommend? Maybe... I think it depends on what content you’re looking for. It would probably be most enjoyable to womxn in the technology business field who enjoy a good steamy romance!
