All men suck, except for Benedick. Beatrice and Benedick are simply awesome.
This felt more like a problem play than a comedy, and it was really good at that. The antagonist was so vicious, but the central love story was actually quite funny. Good stuff overall.

L2 English major university reading
I enjoyed both reading and watching this play, it is an easy one to both to follow and understand.
Benedick and Beatrice couple has to be the best, their relationship is rocky and amusing. The way they both insult each other in the most witty way possible while being two fools in love.
When it comes to Claudio and Hero, it's way different - while i like Hero, i despite Claudio for being such an ass to insult Hero when he had zero proves of the "incident"; but still kinda happy for them at the end.
"I do love nothing in the world so well as you. Is not that strange?"
Benedick... i love you, an icon.

“I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.”
Probably my most favourite play written by Shakespeare. The "merry war" of words between Beatrice and Benedick is full of wit and feelings that they both try to ignore.
