Humourous description of why the Christianity and the Bible is hypocritical, funny and wrong. Well, I don't buy it. I found it a collection of carefully wrought conjectures on why god does not exist because the Bible is unqualified to be an Holy book. I didn't find any novel argument or examples to substantiate his claims and the arguments he raised seemed to be a reiteration of those I have heard before. Honestly after reading the Selfish Gene, this was a disappointment.

Like in the title, this book is rather for beginners in evolutionary biology and atheism. But it is still a good, well-written read that encouraged me to start reading other Dawkins books.

Todellakin a beginner's guide.

Really liked the religious arguments, but the second half of the book was mostly evolution and science. It’s clear that this is Dawkins’ passion, but it wasn’t the reason I read the book.

Outgrowing God shows us why we should all be atheists. Revealing how holy books such as the Bible are full of untruths and historical inaccuracies, Richard Dawkins argues that we can’t take these books seriously, nor should we rely on them for moral guidance.
To explain all the awesome complexity and improbability of living things, we should look to science, and specifically to the process of evolution. It is evolution, by way of natural selection, that gave rise to us and other living creatures from the bottom up.

Some interesting points and I learnt a few things I wasn't aware of before but as I've found before with Dawkins the narrative got distracted towards the end and it didn't feel like it really had a conclusion.
