Felt very blue lives and red lives matter with the cop and firefighter rhetoric...it was not needed. This could have felt deeply emotional, but it ended up feeling extremely rushed. It is not something that I will remember and it wasn't something that I enjoyed all that much. I do love the representation that Evie Mitchell's books have though. Queer folk and down syndrome rep.

My biggest issue with this series is that bc stories are so short I feel like I’m not able to fully invest in the characters (totally a Me thing though). This instillation seemed to have a good amount of buildup between the two MCs which allowed me to have more of a connection
