I read and reviewed both of these books separately, so this is basically for my own records. Both books got three stars from me, so it was easy to rate the box set. They're fun romance stories, and Don has an amusing voice, although all the humour comes from a thought process that he doesn't find funny at all. Don isn't neurotypical, and his attempts to navigate the world around him, to fall in love and have children, are complicated by the fact that he finds it difficult to communicate effectively, and to empathise, with people who are. That said, he's still a genuinely good person, so I want to see him succeed... although, as I commented in both individual reviews, it does feel as though I'm expected to laugh at him, instead of with him, which is less rewarding.

This book reads very fast. I would recommend this book if you are looking for something easy and simple. You don't have to think while reading this book, which makes it fun since you can read it after a long day at school/work. It was hard for me to put the book down but...

If you are looking for a book that portrays a spectrum of autism in the right way then this might not be the right book. It sure gives you a hint of what it is like but it makes you believe autism is easily "cured" if you meet the right person. This book isn't very touching either.

Yet it is a lovely book to read!

I have read The Rosie project by Graeme Simsion. This is the first book in the Don Tillman series. This was a reread for me. I buddy read this with someone from the Dutch book club.

This was amazing, again. I just loved this. A lot of the things Don struggles with, I recognise as well. I really liked the humour in this, have laughed a lot. But the serious tones were also very good. I just love this a lot and am excited for the next book. Gave it 5 stars and it's still a favorite.

Very funny book about Don, a man with autism who tries to find a wife with the help of a survey. Then he meets Rosie, she wants to find out who her real father is. Don is professor specialised in genetics and helps her. Even tough Rosie is a completely misfit to become his wife, according to the survey, they fall in love with each other.
Hilarious feel good book!
