Penny and Gabe are such a good Duo. They're so opposite but work so well at the same time. Tessa knows how to write a funny, Swoony and beautiful story. Gabe has a bit of a past but is doing very well for himself but is trying to deny Penny. While Penny has a long list of animals who lives next door and it’s a nuisance for the property he wants to sell. So Gabe helps Penny with organising safe and loving homes for her animals. But he can’t resist Lady Penny for long.

The parrot storyline had me in hysterics. Best comedy moment in a while.

I loved the first book in this series but if you've read one you've read them all. As this is my third book in this series, I'm finding the characters harder to connect to as they're so similar to the characters from previous books. Also the third act breakup/conflict is completely unnecessary. I understand good stories need conflict and tension but issues for the sake of issues that are resolved within the next ten pages are completely pointless.

These are fun easy reads and I'd still recommend them.

This was so good. I read it in under 24 hours! I loved the tropes it had but also that it didn’t rely on them too much. I loved the cameos and characters from other books. The conflicts felt realistic and in-character. The fmc’s conflict that is revealed made sense and hit me emotionally.

it reminded me very much of should’ve, could’ve, would’ve😢

My only issue is that I felt the fmc forgave the mmc too fast at the end but to be fair he did work for it.
