HOT! HOT! HOT!
Steamy, alluring and well written. Have definitely found a series to distract from my 'don't know what to read' slump. This had a story line, real characters & some hot looking 'southern charm'. Will definitely continue the series.

Kaleb was pretty average overall as far as storylines go. There really wasn't anything to the plot. I didn't have any real expectations before I started but I wasn't expecting it to be so light which isn't a bad thing, just not for me. The sex is what made this book though. If it wasn't for the hot scenes especially the menage, my rating would have been much lower.
All the characters were enjoyable enough but nothing special to me. I found Zoey annoying and a bit bipolar. Kaleb had some good moments until he used the "Let's fuck instead of having a serious discussion about our relationship whenever you question your feelings about me or don't see things my way" and Zoey responds with "I know I'm suppose to be a strong, independent, and logical woman but when I see your dick, it makes me forget about all of that." No judgment but show some self-control. Geez, I really hate when authors go that route with characters. Anyways, it was a pretty decent novel if you're in the mood for an easy read with some hot, steamy sex.

I had a bit of trouble with this one, after reading the reviews I really wanted to like this one and I did try. But sadly I couldnt connect to the characters and had some issues liking Zoey. The plot of Kaleb buying Zoeys fathers land was sidetracked and the romance, which I normally love was so overwhelming that I forgot what the story was about. but even the smoking hot scenes with Kaleb, Zoey and their friend kind of seemed forced and random, I think I re-read this later and see if I can connect. But it just wasnt my cup of tea this time around.

hot and steamy and the walker brothers.. what's not to like.
Definitely a lot of kinky sex. Is that a good thing? The jury is still out. I find that sometimes when an author throws too many sex scenes into a book, especially when those scenes are between the same characters, it tends to get repetitive. Sure, in life we have periods where our sex lives have a pattern. We have jobs, kids, responsibilities, etc. But isn't that why we read these books? To get something different? Don't misunderstand, the scenes are different than your plain old vanilla. In fact, they're pretty hot. But even hot can get repetitive if it's done the same way each time.
As for the characters. I really liked the H and h, Kaleb and Zoey. So I also really wish we would have gotten to know them more OUTSIDE of the bedroom so we could have a deeper connection with them.
Since so much was already said about Zane and Vanessa in this book, it did its job of having me come back for more. I will read the next in the series to see what happens with them. Hopefully we get a bit more of their back story this time.

the erotic scenes were great. although the characters were pretty swallow and there was charachter developement durin the book
I love people who give books like this 1 star for being overly sexual explicit. I'm telling you right now if you don't understand what the label 'erotica' means don't purchase this book and then say it contains too many detailed sex scenes. That's pretty much what you get with this book....sex sex sex. So basically I didn't have to force my way through it and because I knew before reading what I could possibly expect, it having more sex than story didn't bother me. The characters were just okay and the story just okay as well. Nothing really WOW about it
I don't know why I waited so long to read a book by Nicole Edwards, I really enjoyed this book!
I liked the backstory between Kaleb and Zoey, it was totally relatable, I like how she gave the intros to the rest of the brothers without making it overly obvious.
And most of all, I enjoyed reading a book about grown ups! Who act like grown ups!
Definitely going to read more from this author.
