Beautiful Sinner
A Standalone Forbidden Romance
By: Sara Cate
Narrated by: Auri Alden, Stephen Borne

What happens when you are in another country and your one night stand leaves you high and dry with nothing but the clothes on your back? Cadence finds herself in Ireland at a bed and breakfast, and comes to terms that she needs to straighten out her life. Finding her place in the B&B, she finds that working there is very rewarding and the camaraderie is exactly what she needs. All but one. Father Callum is not very supportive of his new employee. But it's not her work ethic. Or her performance. Or her age. But the sheer fact that he is attracted to her. Where will this attraction take them? A taboo romance of age gaps and religion, this very steamy and delicious story had me from the first chapter. I love the setting, and Sara Cate is wonderful at giving us the beautiful imagery of Ireland. The couple is challenged, and I love that it's not easy. It makes their story that much more exciting. It's another well written romance that makes you think and makes you love. The best kind in my opinion!

Auri Alden and Stephen Borne narrate this gem and they are spot on with their performance. Alden has the perfect sound for Cadence. She is young, a little bratty, a little jaded but ready to change and it's all in the inflections Alden uses. Borne is incredible as Callum. This is a very complex character and you can feel his turmoil and struggle with who he is, but you can also feel the love he has. This team is well cast and a pleasure to listen to.
