It was a great read. I liked it a lot. The only thing that bothered me a bit, was the fact we’re reading about Marlowe, a Child of 8, but sometimes he felt way older, he felt way more grown up than the age he has.

Glad I listened to the audiobook. The narrator did a great job and the story was entertaining. I don’t think the world/premise is interesting enough for me to continue on with the second book, though. The first book can stand alone.
