Is makes sense why Mac is the way that she is however it doesn’t excuse her behaviors. I wonder what is next for them being in this town or in this time and none of it relates the contemporary/ modern world.

I don't really have much to say. This series keeps introducing new characters and new weird things for the girls to come across that I'm just honestly not all that invested in the story anymore. I've gotten the impression that the author is just writing as he goes.
One thing, I do feel like the art has gotten better; it seems more colorful and vibrant. So there's that.

This issue was a tad confusing at times, but it also revealed some pretty cool things at the same time. We finally figure out who left the girls the message on the field hockey stick, and in doing so we also are starting to understand how these "portals" work.
There is also this weird creature thing that I couldn't possible describe, and I'm guessing that when you touch it, you see little snippets of the future.
Based on the ending to this issue, my guess is we're in for an action packed story ahead!
