I’m not putting this book down for good just because it features 3 sisters, but only the oldest and youngest are important and the middle sister gets ignored, which hurts my middle child heart.
I’m putting it down because it stresses me out.
Chick lit books are usually about romance and work/family stress, but in this case the stress was overwhelming the romance. Plus two sisters who WERE featured were so rigid in their characters! I know they’ll learn to compromise by the end, but Mari made me uncomfortable and I kind of hated Pearl, so I didn’t care enough to push through to see them get better. Things always get worse first, and status quo was bad enough.

Such a charming story! I loved the family dynamic between the sisters, the wedding drama, and the setting in DC.

I liked: good plot (a little predictable, but that’s not always a bad thing in a fluffy read), intriguing characters, and happy ending. I liked reading about a wedding-based, woman/sister-owned business, and that the focus remained mostly on their sisterhood and friendships.

What I didn’t like: it didn’t feel particularly well-written or well-edited. A bit sloppy, with some mistakes.

Overall: Good. A solid 3.0.

The story was very cute but the writing was all over the place. Too many details when there could have been less, and not enough when you wanted to know more.

If you love the movie “The Wedding Planner” give this book a read! This story is about a family, de la Rosa sisters, weddings and Washington DC!

Firstly, I found the cover so adorable, it was a perfect book to read in the Spring. When I got my hands on the book I had to read it ASAP!

Secondly, the sisters! The eldest Mari is the CEO, she’s the leader and the boss. Jane, the middle one is the sister who doesn’t like dramas. She’s a person who maintains or restores peace within the family. Which leave us with the youngest sister Pearl... my favourite! She’s such a dreamy girl who feels unappreciated and overlooked in their business partnership.

Finally, the main thing I love about this story was how different the sisters are. Each one of them have different personalities to hold the family business together and I personally loved that!

This has been my first book of @tifmarcelo and I’ve really enjoyed reading it! Look forward to reading more of her books!

I really enjoyed this book! As the youngest of 3 sisters, and the bunso, I totally sympathized with Pearl, although she is much braver than I. Loved all of the characters and the relationships. And, loved the Lucianna cameo at the end.

This was such a comfort story! I loved the three sisters and their own individual growth and growth as a family.
Somehow this is advertised as a romance and I can sort of see why, but that’s not what it is at all. It’s a family story, romance is just a small side note. The three sisters are amazing, strong-willed, and beautiful. They’re the sweetest. But I did get a bit bored in the middle.
