WOW!
This book had me up until 4:00am. I couldn't go to sleep. I had to finish it.
The plot twists. The drama. The hurt. The grief. I cannot articulate just how I felt about the grief and sadness, that poured from the pages. The plot was amazing. I was utterly glued to the book, while the ultimate revenge plot played out.
Those Stanton Boys are delicious!

Soap opera to the maximum!
I applaud people that could survive so much drama in their lives.
Natasha mature up a little bit and Joshua still a man-child. They do say love is blind.
A lot of unresolved issues and red herrings.

This book broke me

I was about 60% into the book when I went to bed..then SHIT WENT DOWN...I couldn't put it down and go to sleep..I was so drawn in to the complete horror show playing out throughout half of the book that hours past and next thing I knew I was on the last page of this book with their beautiful beautiful wedding (omg thank you) and it was already 6am..I only then went to sleep

Warning! Spoilers ahead

Hours later I'm sitting here trying to wrap my head around everything that happened. I knew from the start that article Josh recieved about Tash and her bodyguard having an affair was total BS. Then to make things worse..the got drugged, she got kidnapped by a psycho and kept there for months. Meanwhile she's declared dead and Josh got accused for murder of his fiance Natasha. I liked the way they found her eventually, although I would've expected the characters who found her to be more elated the second they saw her - even though at that moment she was busy fighting with her psycho kidnapper. At the end I honestly wasn't all that surprised who was behind the kidnapping..Josh's one and only "other woman" Amalie..

I just want to add that I really suspected Jeston to be the kidnapper, playing double agent but luckily not. I do wonder what role he'll play in the next book, he did end up helping the boys to try get Josh out of jail but I feel like that's not going to be the end of drama between those three

I would've like to see more of the side characterss reactions of seeing Natasha again for the first time after she was pronounced "alive"

I would've also expected the media to play a bigger role. Even though they were there at the part where the two love birds got reunited. Such a bittersweet moment honestly

I do think I might get some of my answer that I do have answered in the next and final installment of this series

Some of my added thoughts
- The proposal was so so beautiful! Honestly would've given anything for such a proposal...or to just get married under that tree with all those fairy lights. Swoon
- love love all the drama behind the paternity. I love it when a story make such a huge turn after such a big reveal

Some of my favourite quotes
“And the tattoo?” I whisper into his kiss. “I wanted a mark on the outside of my body to match the mark I had for her on the inside of my body.”

“Have we ever had anything but intimate and beautiful between us, presh?” His eyes hold mine. “Together we are intimate perfection,” he whispers into my hair.

“Eating a salad in McDonald’s is like going to a hooker for a hug. What’s the damn point?” lol

"As long as he loves me, there will always be magic."

It's time to write a review this book and it's so hard because I am still mindblown!! To sum it up, this book was Amazeballs. I enjoyed the first two, but this one takes the friggin cake! It had all of the elements I love in a book. Romance, angst, possessiveness, alpha domination, suspense, humour, etc.

Let's talk about the last 30% of this story. This author kept me on my damn toes. I was so excited!! I really had no idea which way it would turn (although I had suspicions) but the truth is not what I expected!!

I loved loved loved this book. I couldn't put it down it was so good. I know the writing is good when I'm anxiously biting my nails waiting for the next plot twist. This author did not disappoint!! This book made me angry, disgusted, sad, happy, laugh, cry and grin with joy. I loved every minute of it. The writing was so well done for it to evoke such strong feelings in me, that's for sure.

Fave lines:

“Natasha, I am a very rich man but I didn’t know the true value of wealth until you came back into my life. Everything was meaningless.”

“Natasha, you have been the biggest blessing in my life and it’s one that I can’t carry on without.” He fusses around in his pocket and my eyes widen when he pulls out the biggest ring I have ever seen. I hold my hands over my mouth in shock.
Is this happening?
“I didn’t even know what true love was until I met you. You are the only woman I have made love to, the only woman I have loved… will ever love. I need you to marry me.”

“Do you know how much I love you?” he whispers.
I smile and emotion steals my ability to speak.
“I fucking adore you,” he whispers. “You are everything to me. This money and this life mean nothing to me if I don’t have you.”

“Have we ever had anything but intimate and beautiful between us, presh?” His eyes hold mine. “Together we are intimate perfection,” he whispers into my hair.”

“Oww, my feet. Shit, I’m an idiot. I should have grabbed Carl’s shoes. Who am I kidding? I wouldn’t steal a person’s shoes that I had just stabbed. I put my hands on my head in disbelief. I just stabbed someone in the neck. What the fucking hell has my life turned into?”

“How do you light a fire without a match? I shake my head at my stupidity. Survivor… I hate that fucking show and now I know why. This is totally shit. I hate surviving. At least if I had watched it I would have a faint idea what to do now, but no… I had to watch Dating Naked. What the hell am I ever going to learn from a show like Dating Naked other than that people are surprisingly stupid?”

At the end of the book, I saw stories for Cameron, Bridget and Abbs. But what about Adrian? I loved him. His POV gave great insight to what was going on parallel to Natasha and Josh's POVs. I would love for him and Nicholas to get their HEA.

I appreciated the growth of these characters. Their reactions to certain 'events' showed a marked difference in their maturity levels (although Josh can still throw a tantrum like nobody's business lol). I wonder if anyone else felt bad for Amelie (crazy psycho) or Jesten? Especially Jesten because he really did end up loving Nat. Ah well, those two should have known they couldn't compete. It wasn't like Josh and Natasha weren't honest with them. Everyone knew they were in love and nothing was going to change that. At least Jesten kind of backed off. Amelie just needed some friggin help!

Through all of their tests, trials and tribulations I was glad to see that their love triumphed. Thank you for this awesome read!!

Can't wait to read more on these characters!!

So this is the sixth or seventh book I’ve read by this author, I’m glad I did not read this one first, first in the series because I likely would not have returned to her. Her later writing is more enjoyable, the characters are less violent and less aggressive and there’s less unnecessary drama to drive the story. She does know how to write a cliffhanger so I’ll give her that and likely the reason why people return to each subsequent book.
