I really wanted to like this book, but 3 stars is probably generous. There is nothing wrong with the story, as it's basically a pretty accurate retelling of the novel (as far as I can recall, it's been a while since I read it). The problem is that I didn't really like the art. I felt it was too cartoony when it needed to be much more grounded in reality (ironic, I know, for a book dealing with wizards and werewolves). Also, what worked in the book didn't work so well here, namely the fact that there are three different groups of werewolves in this story - the graphic novel makes it difficult to distinguish which group are which. Finally the werewolves were mostly just not scary enough.

Well this follows the book very well. I like how the character are brought to the visual. The action is way too fast to really follow unless you already know the story. I think this adds to the book if you are a visual person and want to see how another visualizes the characters. It was fun but not really anything more.

I live Jim Butcher books. This one a little less than the others, but important tobread to understand the characters in later books.

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get into this...it feels like there is a lot of background story and it doesn't feel like reading #1...

Story is good but the artwork was a bit of a letdown, silly when it needed to be dramatic.

This comic is not catered towards the lovers of comics but rather to the fans of Dresden Files. Fool Moon was a good Dresden book and this installment is based off that. The earlier Dresden novels all suffer from being limited in scope but I guess that’s what makes them more adaptable to this medium wherein each case can be treated as a standalone.

The look changed again from the back half of Storm Front and I am liking this look better

Side note: I never imagined that Bill would look like this. I blame Jacob.

I read (listened to) [b:Fool Moon|91477|Fool Moon (The Dresden Files, #2)|Jim Butcher|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1507307616s/91477.jpg|855288] quite a while ago, so since I didn’t really remember all the details, I thought this two-part graphic novel series would be fun. It has great drawings and is pretty short. I don’t know why it is split into two volumes, but whatever. Luckily, I can read both volumes back to back.
